What to do in the event of an earthquake

According to Engineer Arquitect Hernández Figueroa, Director Responsible of operetions D.R.O-0943 CDMX

DURING AN EARTHQUAKE, SHOULD I STAY OR SHOULD I EXIT?

****APPLICABLE EVERYWHERE/TIME********

👉 If you're able to exit within the first 35 seconds, DO IT!

If you're above the 5th floor, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT, remember, if it's already moving, STAY PUT.

👉 IF YOU CANT EXIT, Stay inside and look for a vital area such as the bathroom.

Facts:

Area where most corpses are found after an earthquake: STAIRS

Areas with most survivers found: BATHROOMS due to their small area and low capacity for compactation.

If you can't exit within 35 seconds seek refuge in your bathroom with your loved ones,

FOR a more modern approach install the app SASSLA on your phone, it will let you know up to 1 minute in advance about low, medium and high intensity earthquakes approaching your area.
